INSTRUMENT TUITION
Primary School aged children
One of our core programs is the work we do with primary school aged students. Currently we have partnerships with 3 local schools – Lucknow Primary School, Nungurner Primary School and Clifton Creek Primary School.
This program delivers instrumental music education to those students who may not usually have access to music tuition. Group sessions focus on both the educational and social aspects of musical learning.
These
sessions are run by leading Music Tutors with the assistance of volunteers.
Within this program our students have access to other events and workshops.
Events in the past include workshops with visiting professional musicians and conductors, eg, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Inventi Ensemble, excursions to the Arts Centre Melbourne, circus skills training with Wacky Wombat entertainment and more.
Students are encouraged to further their instrument playing skills by attend our weekly Youth(ful)
Orchestra and other events.
